Almond Resorts, the operator of premium all-inclusive hotels in the Caribbean, has opened its first resort on St. Lucia. Almond, which already operates three hotels on Barbados, opened the Almond Morgan Bay Beach Resort on the west coast of St. Lucia in November 2005.
Located on a luxurious stretch of secluded sandy beach amongst 22 acres of tropical gardens on the west coast of St Lucia, Almond Morgan Bay offers guests an ideal family all-inclusive holiday on the island. For water babies and active holidaymakers, the hotel has four swimming pools, a fitness centre and a range of land based and water sports with free tuition available.
Guests can indulge at a choice of four gourmet a la carte restaurants from French Creole and Asian-Caribbean fusion to a continental restaurant or seafood restaurant built over water on Morgan’s pier. There are also four bars all serving premium brand drinks and cocktails.
The hotel will have a spa with treatments including massages, facials, manicures and other treatments available at a locally-payable cost as well as a Kid’s Club that caters for newborn babies and children up to the age of 16 years old with programmes designed to keep children of all ages entertained.
St Lucia is the first new destination outside of the Almond Resorts home in Barbados, and gives Almond customers a greater choice of holiday options, now allowing them to choose between the lush green landscapes of St Lucia and the white sandy beaches of Barbados, or a combination of both islands in one twin-centre holiday.
