Almond Resorts Appoints New Sales Executive

Almond Resorts has strengthened its business development team with the appointment of highly experienced industry professional, Sarah Keig as sales executive for the North of England and Scotland.
Sarah will be working closely with travel agents in these areas to raise the profile of the four four-star premier all-inclusive resorts owned by Almond Resorts on Barbados and St Lucia and increase the understanding of the hotel group’s ‘For You, About You’ premium all-inclusive concept through sales visits, training and support to both agents and tour operators.
Sarah joins Almond Resorts from GB Airways where she held a similar sales position, working closely with tour operators, consolidators and travel agents. She has been in the travel industry for over 12 years and brings with her sales experience gained from previous positions at companies including Kuoni, Hayes & Jarvis, Amadeus and Sovereign.
Sarah will work alongside Suzanne Spike sales executive for the South of England and Fiona Boss sales executive for the Midlands region; and will report in to Tracey Dyson, UK business development manager.
Tracey Dyson comments: “Sales for Almond Resorts in the north of England and Scotland have grown by 20% over the last year. With the addition of our newly opened property on St Lucia and our third Barbados property, Almond Casuarina Beach Resort, due to open in Spring 2007, as well as the increase in direct flights to Barbados and St Lucia from Manchester, we are anticipating our bookings from these areas to double.
