Teenagers now pay children’s prices at Almond Resorts

Almond Resorts, the operator of five four-star premium all-inclusive hotels in the Caribbean, has introduced a new pricing policy commencing in January 2007. Children up to and including 16 years of age are now charged child prices by both Almond Resorts and participating airlines.
Almond Resorts has made it even easier for families to soak up the Caribbean sun by increasing their child age limit from 12 to 16 years of age, significantly decreasing the cost of a family holiday at Almond Resorts. Families can choose from four family-friendly resorts across Barbados and St. Lucia including the new Almond Casuarina Beach Resort on Barbados and the new Almond Smugglers Cove on St Lucia.
Families staying at any of the family friendly resorts can take advantage of the children’s club, which is offered free as part of the all-inclusive package and offers children four different programmes aimed at children aged from newborn infants up to 16 years old.
The Almond Kid’s Club gives children the opportunity to have fun whilst learning different skills with a wide range of activities that are tailored to different age groups from face painting and hair braiding to cookery classes, tie-dying, beach cricket and volleyball and even a teen disco. There are also special children’s pools, children’s restaurants and a separate children’s play area.
For quality time as a family a huge variety of water-sports are on offer including snorkelling, water-skiing, banana boating and canoeing as well as various on shore games such as volleyball.
When parents feel the need for a break from the children, Almond Resorts hotels offer numerous freshwater swimming pools and water sports including motorised sports with free tuition on hand if required, whilst back on dry land they can use the fitness centre, try a game of tennis or golf - all part of the all-inclusive package. Alternatively they can unwind with spa treatments available for a locally payable cost. After a hard day in the sun, parents can indulge at one of the hotel’s a la carte restaurants serving gourmet cuisine or bars serving premium brand name drinks, or simply do nothing at all in the knowledge that their kids are being well looked after.
