ALMOND RESORTS EXPANDS SENIOR MANAGEMENT TEAM

Almond Resorts, the premier all-inclusive hotel group of the Caribbean, has strengthened its senior management team in Barbados with the appointment of three highly experienced industry professionals:
At Almond Beach Village, Guillaume Warnery has been appointed Director of Hotel Operations, whilst Martin Fischl has been appointed Executive Chef. Dr. Ken Watson joins the team at Almond Casuarina Beach as the newly appointed Executive Assistant Manager.
Mr Warnery, a graduate of the Lausanne School of Hotel Management, brings with him a wealth of international industry experience, having worked across the globe in the Middle East, Africa, Asia, North, South and Latin America. Mr Warnery has a strong background in Food and Beverage and has a proven track record for increasing staff productivity.
Mr. Fischl is a highly qualified and experienced resort chef and joins the team following an assignment with the Al Raha Beach Hotel in Abu Dhabi. He has worked in Europe, the Middle East, Asia and the Caribbean and brings in depth culinary and management skills to the existing Almond Resorts catering team.
Dr. Watson completed his PhD at Cornell University and began his career in hotel management at the London Dorchester Hotel. He has successfully managed many major hotel projects, which include The Villas at Stone Haven and Wyndham Luxury Hotels and Resorts. Prior to this, Dr.Watson was a lecturer with the University of West Indies in the Bahamas.
