  • Answer: Yes, all Almond properties have wireless internet services however the charges vary by resort.
  • Almond Beach Club - Has free wireless connection in the main bar, entertainment areas, front offce, and lobby.
  • Almond Beach Village - Has free wireless connection in the Horizons restaurant, guest services center and lobby.  The business center charges $7.50 USD per half hour for computer usage.        
  • Almond Casuarina Beach - Has In-room laptop connection which includes wireless throughout the property for the day.  The usage fee is $20.00 USD per day.
  • Almond Morgan Bay - Has free wireless connection in the lobby and Sunset Lounge. The computer located in the reception area charges $3.00 per 15 minutes for usage.
  • Almond Smugglers Cove - Has free wireless connection in the lobby. The Internet Cafe charges $3.00 per 15 minutes for computer usage.

Legal tender in Barbados is the Barbaods Dollar, with a current exchange rate of about $2 BD to US $1.  Credit cards, travelers cheques and US currency are accepted virtually everywhere on the island.

The tropical climate and relaxed atmosphere of Barbados lend themselves nicely to casual attire.  Shoes must be worn, bathing suits must be covered and men are required to wear shirts with sleeves in all restaurants.  After 6 pm, nice casual attire is suggested (no shorts or shorts ensembles).

Electric current is the same as in the US, so no special adapters are needed. The electricity in Barbados is 110 voltage and in St. Lucia is 110 and 220 voltage.

Entry requirement to Barbados and St. Lucia vary by citizenship. Please check with your appropriate State Department prior to travel to ensure you have proper documentation. US citizens are required to present a valid passport and return airline ticket prior to departure and entry. Upon leaving, a per person departure tax is payable at the airport.

Barbados and St. Lucia are in the Atlantic Time Zone, but do not observe Daylight Savings Time. Throughout the winter months, we are one hour later than US Eastern Standard Time, while in the summer we are on the same time as Eastern Daylight Time.
