We just returned from our honeymoon where we stayed at the Almond Club & Spa. We just wanted to say what a wonderful place the Club & Spa is. From the spectacular views to the fabulous pools, the room, the bars and the restaurants - it was all just paradise. From the day we arrived to the day we left nothing was too much hassle and everyone we met were just so friendly and helpful. We would certainly recommend the Club & Spa to anyone wanting to spend some quality time in a beautiful country be it a honeymoon or simply a holiday. Many many thanks to all the staff for making us feel so special.

We have just returned from ABV having got married there a couple of weeks ago. The setting was amazing and those involved in the wedding including Lucita and the photography staff, especially Manty, were fantastic. We got married on the beach and it was really special. The hotel was good and the food excellent. Vicky and Vali at the Reef restaurant were really good.

We just returned from our honeymoon. The island of Barbados is absolutely gorgeous! We stayed at the Club & Spa. The views were spectacular, the grounds were nice, our room was upgraded by a very nice gentleman. The majority of the staff wasn't as friendly as we would have expected. (we heard this from others too)there was a few great staff who stood out. :) The food is wonderful if you are able to make reservations at the reatuarants, otherwise...it didn't really live up to our expectations. There are certain hours to eat, which hasn't been my experience in the past with all inclusive types. Weather was not so hot, thus we were unable to enjoy the majority of the outdoor activities. All in all, we will most likely try something new next time. We did have a wonderful honeymoon however.

Just returned from Almond Village. Loved it. Firstly, need rooms w/double beds. secondly, need more activities for adults. all in all, we had a wonderful time. thank you for helping me to celebrate my friend, ev's birthday. RAVES TO DORETT, TAMIKA, NOREEN, DOLLAND, DESMOND & NIGEL MADE US FEEL WELCOMED, COMFORTABLE & RIGHT AT HOME. THESE WONDERFUL PEOPLE SHOULD BE RECOGNIZED FOR THEIR HOSPITALITY. THEY WILL FOREVER HAVE A SPECIAL PLACE IN OUR HEARTS. CANDY

Have just arrived back home to Derby in UK (27 August 2008) from a 10 day holiday at Almond Beach Village. What a place!!! The main reason we were there was for our sons wedding and would have not been somewhere we naturally chose for a holiday. Our party was 17 in number from age 14 to 70's and everyone loved the resort, facilities and especially the food. The staff were very courteous and could not do enough for you, whether they were housekeeping, waiting, bar, activity or general staff members - all they were interested in was making sure we had a good time. ABV has changed my perception of a "hotel" holiday as we usually cruise, but this was easily as good if not better. I will be sending personal e-mails to staff who excelled and made our holiday very special - Doreen, Lucita and the wedding photographic team. Thank you all again and see you next year!

WHAT A BRILLIANT HOLIDAY in an exceptionally beautiful country . We were at the Smugglers cove resort from July 27th to August 12th (Yes we got an extra 2 days due to the return flight been over-booked)
The accomadation was excellent and in such stunning green lush gardens. On one particular day I must of counted 15 gardeners . The Food was superb -in particular the Waterside which had great seafood offerings and good service. Our children loved the different swimming pools and made plenty of friends (thanks Ben for the nickname "DYNAMITE" which has stuck with my son - Liam).
The staff were all Friendly and pleasant - in the true Caribbean style . Brian in the Piton bar was a real star and his staff worked so hard to keep the drinks flowing. Brian was not bad on the Karaoke also (Not sure about the Tom Jones effort though) . His entertainment in Tommy's Bar was class. This guy really made our holiday . Pascal was also excellent with the children who visited his BBQ most days .There was also a fire in the complex while we were there -however the staff worked so hard you would not of realised this and this did not spoil the rest of our holiday . Also a big thank you to some of the great people we met including Jed and Karen from Chesterfield and Nick (Yes you were all bad at Karaoke)
All in all a brilliant time with lots of great memories . Best wishes to all the staff and we look forward to visiting you again in years to come.
regards and be happy !
