Dining at Almond Beach Village is a gourmet experience. There are five restaurants to choose from at the resort, and guests may also enjoy two dining establishments at the nearby Almond Beach Club and three at Almond Casuarina Beach via a complimentary shuttle service. Throughout the day, snacks are available from the beach grill, and room service is offered for lunch and dinner. Reservations are required for all restaurants for dinner only with the exception of Enid’s. In addition, the resort has five bars, including the signature Tommy’s Bar - a true Bajan rum shop. Nightly entertainment includes live music and shows, a weekly Manager’s Cocktail Party, and after 11 p.m., guests can enjoy Rachel’s Night Club. Please note: gentleman must wear collared shirts and trousers in the restaurants after 6 p.m. Room service is offered for lunch or dinner.

Horizons

The resort’s main restaurant serves a buffet-style breakfast, full lunch with a choice of either the buffet or an á la carte menu that changes daily, and a dinner menu of á la carte continental cuisine. A British-style high tea is served every afternoon from 3:00 to 4:30 pm.

 

Enid's

Offering classic Bajan cuisine in a colourful, festive atmosphere, this restaurant is open for dinner only.

 

The Reef

Buffet-style breakfast and lunch by the ocean. The Reef transforms into the resort’s seafood restaurant for dinner.

 

La Samarrita

Serving authentic Northern Italian cuisine, this restaurant is open to guests 16 years and older.

 

Boardwalk Bar & Grill

Guests seeking a casual lunch will find just that at this beachfront location.

 

Perfect for the entire family, Almond Beach Village boasts ten freshwater swimming pools and two Jacuzzis. Water sports include Hobie Cat sailing, snorkeling, windsurfing, aqua cycles, kayaks and fishing.   Diversions on land include a nine-hole, par-three golf course, tennis courts for day and night play, and an on-site mini spa for massages and manicures, with full spa services available 15 minutes away at Almond Beach Club & Spa. Harbor Lights Beach Extravaganza

Rum & History Tour

This cultural extravaganza is complete with costumes, thrilling choreography, music, song, dance, stilt walkers and the red-hot excitement of a fire eater and flaming limbo. Turtle Feeding Trip

Price: USD $30Board a small boat and travel a short distance from the hotel where you can swim with the turtles while they are being fed. The trip lasts about one hour and is an incredible experience.

 

Atlantis Submarine Tour

Journey by coach to the Animal Flower Cave, Barbados’ first tourist attraction, which is named for the sea anemones found in the pools of the cave. Stop along the way at the picturesque Cherry Tree Hill and the old Morgan Lewis Mill (the only working windmill on the island). Also enjoy a tour of Orchid World for nature lovers.

Have lunch along the rugged Bathsheba seaside, and then head inland to Gun Hill Signal station at St. George, where a proud symbol of protection from the 19th century still stands. Transportation from hotel is included.

 

Starlight Dinner Cruise

Andromeda Gardens & Welchman Hall Gully (Nature Tour)

Price: Adult (13yrs +): USD$58 Child: USD $38.00 per ChildThe Andromeda Botanical Gardens, found in the parish of St. Joseph, is a six-acre garden containing many varieties of orchids, palms, ferns, heliconia, hibiscus, bougainvillea, begonias and cacti. The beautiful and exotic flowers and trees are complemented by a lovely stream, which bisects the land and forms enchanting pools and waterfalls. Welchman Hall Gully was once a cave of its own, which collapsed centuries ago, leaving behind lush foliage meandering paths and romantic hideaways.

 

As part of the all-inclusive package, the children’s program at Almond Beach Village has been designed to provide educational fun to children from newborn to teens. A full-service nursery provides indoor and outdoor recreation for children up to two years old, and our Kids' Club offers activities for children – ranging from three to twelve – that include beach and pool activities, lessons in local dance, culture and music, plus computers and video games. Our fully qualified staff allows parents to relax and enjoy themselves in the knowledge their kids are supervised and well looked-after. Which is truly a vacation in itself.
