Some evenings right about sunset, Barbados’ famous Green Monkeys come snack on the lush gardens of bamboo and fruit trees that canopy the grounds of the all-inclusive Almond Casaurina Beach. Almond Casuarina Beach offers 280 rooms in six accommodation categories. A brand new adult-only oceanview block offers Superior Deluxe and One Bedroom Ocean View Suites with elevator service. Remaining rooms overlook the spectacular tropical gardens. All rooms include a balcony, French balcony or terrace, air conditioning, ceiling fan, private bath/shower, safety deposit box, hairdryer, direct dial telephone, tea/coffeemaker, iron/board, satellite color television, beach towels and high speed Internet connections (nominal fee locally). Wireless Internet access is also available in the entertainment and main pool area. Rooms offer one king or two twin beds. For parties of more than two, additional guests are accommodated on rollaway or sofa bed.

Almond Casuarina Beach has a selection of three gourmet restaurants serving breakfast, lunch and an á la carte dinner. Guests may also enjoy the four dining establishments at the nearby Almond Beach Village and two at Almond Beach Club & Spa (guests 16 years and over) via a complimentary shuttle service. Room service is available for lunch and dinner and reservations are required for all restaurants for dinner only, with the exception of Enid’s. There are five bars, including our always delightful swim up bar, all serving name brand drinks, cocktails and soft drinks as part of the premium all-inclusive program. Live entertainment is offered nightly and a manager’s cocktail party is held weekly.Please note: gentleman must wear collared shirts and trousers in the restaurants after 6 p.m.

Waves

The resort’s main restaurant serves a buffet-style breakfast with made-to-order omelets, full lunch with a choice of either the buffet or an á la carte menu that changes daily, and a dinner menu of á la carte continental cuisine. A British-style high tea is served every afternoon from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. offering sweet and savory pastries, scones, finger sandwiches and over 15 varieties of tea.

 

Enid's

Offering classic Caribbean cuisine in a colourful, festive atmosphere, this restaurant is open for dinner only.

 

Dover Grill

A seafood restaurant, with spectacular views of the white sands and the blue ocean, offering the freshest catch of the day.

 

Almond Casuarina Beach boasts three freshwater swimming pools and a beautiful stretch of beach including complimentary beach chairs. The whole family is able to enjoy snorkeling, sailing, kayaking, floodlit tennis courts (lessons available) and a fitness center. A complimentary shuttle allows guests to visit the other properties on Barbados: Almond Beach Club & Spa (guests 16 years and over) and Almond Beach Village.For further relaxation, visit our destination spa featuring various services, including massage, facials, detoxifying juices, manicures and pedicures. You’re welcome to stay on the resort your entire visit, but we encourage you to venture out and explore the island and its culture. Harbor Lights Beach Extravaganza

Rum & History Tour

This cultural extravaganza is complete with costumes, thrilling choreography, music, song, dance, stilt walkers and the red-hot excitement of a fire eater and flaming limbo. The show has also been featured on CNN, E Entertainment, Granada Television, and many other network TV stations.

 

Turtle Feeding Trip

Time: 9:30 AM, 1:00 PM & 2:30 PM at Almond Beach Village; 11:00 AM at Almond Casuarina Beach; 2:00 PM at Almond Beach Club & Spa

Price: USD $30Board a small boat and travel a short distance from the hotel where you can swim with the turtles while they are being fed. The trip lasts about one hour and is an incredible experience.

 

Atlantis Submarine Tour

Journey by coach to the Animal Flower Cave, Barbados’ first tourist attraction, which is named for the sea anemones found in the pools of the cave. Stop along the way at the picturesque Cherry Tree Hill and the old Morgan Lewis Mill (the only working windmill on the island). Also enjoy a tour of Orchid World for nature lovers.

Have lunch along the rugged Bathsheba seaside, and then head inland to Gun Hill Signal station at St. George, where a proud symbol of protection from the 19th century still stands. Transportation from hotel is included. 

 

Starlight Dinner Cruise

Andromeda Gardens & Welchman Hall Gully (Nature Tour)

Price: Adult (13yrs +): USD$58 Child: USD $38.00 per ChildThe Andromeda Botanical Gardens, found in the parish of St. Joseph, is a six-acre garden containing many varieties of orchids, palms, ferns, heliconia, hibiscus, bougainvillea, begonias and cacti. The beautiful and exotic flowers and trees are complemented by a lovely stream, which bisects the land and forms enchanting pools and waterfalls. Welchman Hall Gully was once a cave of its own, which collapsed centuries ago, leaving behind lush foliage meandering paths and romantic hideaways.

 

As part of the all-inclusive package, the children’s program at Almond Casuarina Beach has been designed to provide educational fun to children from newborn to teens. A full-service nursery provides indoor and outdoor recreation for children up to two years old, and our Kids' Club offers activities for children – ranging from three to twelve – that include beach and pool activities, lessons in local dance, culture and music, plus computers and video games. Our fully qualified staff allows parents to relax and enjoy themselves in the knowledge their kids are supervised and well looked-after. Which is truly a vacation in itself.
