The resort’s 357 rooms are available in five accommodation categories and are located in single-story cottage style buildings set in the tropical gardens or overlooking Smugglers Cove itself. All rooms are newly refurbished with king or twin beds (request in advance) and offer a patio, air conditioning, private bath/shower or walk-in shower, safety deposit box, hairdryer, direct dial telephone, tea/coffee maker, iron/board, satellite color television and beach towels. Wireless Internet access is available in the lobby. For parties of more than two, additional guests are accommodated on a rollaway or sofa bed.

Consists of a spacious bedroom with an adjoining living room, some separated by French doors. Bedroom flows into a large vanity area. Bathrooms with walk-in showers can be requested.

Guests of Almond Smugglers Cove have a choice of five gourmet restaurants serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as room service for lunch and dinner. Reservations are required for all restaurants for dinner only, as are slacks and collared shirts for gentleman. There is a choice of five bars, including a swim-up pool bar, all serving name brand drinks, cocktails and soft drinks as part of the premium all-inclusive program. Nightly entertainment includes live music and shows, a late night bar and a weekly manager’s cocktail party.

The Cove

A continental restaurant serving a buffet style breakfast with made to order omelets, full lunch and á la carte evening menu from around the world. A British style high tea is served every afternoon from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m

 

Waterside Grill

Enjoy the catch of the day from this ocean-view location. Open for breakfast and dinner.

 

Café Enid’s

A French/Caribbean restaurant, offering local delicacies, open for dinner and exclusively for adults over 16 years of age.

 

La Trattoria

Enjoy the delights of the resort’s Italian restaurant with wood oven pizzas and hand-made pastas. Open for lunch and dinner.

 

The Great House

A gourmet restaurant located in a grand plantation house, regarded as one of St. Lucia’s finest dining establishments. It is located adjacent to the main entrance of Almond Smugglers Cove. Reservations are required and meals at this restaurant are not included in the Almond all-inclusive program.

 

Almond Smuggler’s Cover offers fun for the entire family. There are six swimming pools, one of which is reserved exclusively for adults over 16 years of age. Another is reserved for kids and features a 100 foot waterslide. Enjoy snorkeling, windsurfing, sailing and kayaking. The resort has its own racquet club, which is equipped with seven tennis courts, a squash court, a fitness centre and destination spa offering various services including massages, facials, detoxifying juices, manicures and pedicures. Spa packages are available for purchase in advance or can be paid locally.

 

You’re welcome to stay on the resort your entire visit, but we encourage you to venture out and explore the island and its culture. Deep Sea Fishing

Dolphin & Whale Watching

Full Day Sail to Soufriere

Embark on a catamaran cruise along the west coast and enjoy the rugged beauty of the coastline. Pirate Day Sail to Soufriere

Price: Adult: USD $110 Child: USD $55Experience the fun of a day at sea on the Tall Ship “Brig Unicorn”. A 140 foot replica of a 19th century Brig, this ship took part in the 1976 Tall Ships Race and was used in the filming of Roots and Pirates of the Caribbean. Cruise along the west coast of St. Lucia, while sipping complimentary rum punch and soft drinks as our crew sets the billowing sails for a trip to Soufriere. Once in Soufriere, tour the famous Sulphur Springs—a drive-in volcano, the stunning Diamond Fall and the lush tropical gardens before returning to the Unicorn for a tasty lunch on board. On the return, there is a stop to swim at Anse Cochon. A sail through beautiful Marigot Bay completes our adventure aboard the Unicorn. Lunch and transportation from the hotel is included.

 

Rainforest Sky Rides

Foresteirre Rainforest Trail

Price: Adult: USD $60 Child: USD $30Board an “open-topped” Land Rover and travel into the rainforest. Your expert St. Lucian Forestry guide will escort you on the hike through the forest. You will be served sandwiches, light snacks and soft drinks. Land Rover transportation from the hotel is included.

 

Waterfall Cycling Adventure

Price: Adult: USD $60 Child: USD $30Bike through the rainforest and stop at Errard Waterfall where you can take a dip in its refreshing waters. Then cycle through the rainforest as the guide points out local crops grown on the island. Ride back to the resort in an open truck through the quaint fishing village of Dennery. Transportation from the hotel is included.

 

Sunset Cruise

Day: Monday, Friday

Price: Adult: USD $60 Child: USD $30Board the Unicorn and sail the western coastline on this adults-only sunset cruise. Enjoy the live steel band music, while you are served hors d’oeuvres, sandwiches, champagne, rum punch and soft drinks. Transportation from the hotel is included.

 

As part of the all-inclusive package, the children’s program at Almond Smuggler’s Cove has been designed to provide educational fun to children from newborn to teens. A full-service nursery provides indoor and outdoor recreation for children up to two years old, and our Kids' Club offers activities for children – ranging from three to twelve – that include beach and pool activities, lessons in local dance, culture and music, plus computers and video games. Our fully qualified staff allows parents to relax and enjoy themselves in the knowledge their kids are supervised and well looked-after. Which is truly a vacation in itself.
